Skopelos Cruise

In the olden days, Skopelos was called “Peparithos”, from the name of the isles’ first king’s brother who was also the first settler of the region. The traditional island of Skopelos is situated between Skiathos and Alonnisos and is famous for its cheese pies and its popularity for being the movie set of 2008' Mamma Mia, starring Meryl Streep. Our trip highlights will start from the scenic ports of Amaliapoli and continuing to traverse all of the southeast coasts of Pilio and the old city of Kastro. Our next destination is the famed beach of "Lalaria'' and to the mountainous church of Agios Ioannis, where "Mamma Mia" was filmed before we head to the old town center (Chora) of Skopelos, where you can try the famous Skopelian Cheese pie.

Alonnisos is one of those Greek islands that lavishly offers you the perfect holiday spot if you wish to relax, and be surrounded by a thousand pictures of pure, natural beauty. The clear blue waters surrounding the island are home to the rare and endangered Mediterranean monk seal. The vibrant, lush vegetation that dominates all parts of Alonnisos, and its picturesque, pristine beaches, truly make this island heaven on earth. Our trip highlights are to visit the old village of Alonissos to admire the astounding castle looming at the top of the hill, then continue to the picturesque port of the island, Patitiri, for a stroll in their town centre or a quick dip in the turquoise water beach that overlooked by steep pale-yellow rocks with scattered pine trees.

Volos, built in the innermost point of the Pagasitic Bay and a hair’s breadth from the mountain of Pilio combines all of the sea’s charm with the mysterious beauty of the mountain of Centaurs. The homely city is connected to the infamous Argonauts, one of the most important epic poems of Greek mythology. Our trip highlights are visitation to the breathtaking and deeply blue “Tzasteni'' beach where it’s now time for you to explore its waters before continuing to Trikeri island, the monastery of Zoodochou Pigis, and the monastery Iera Monitis Panagias before setting off to enjoy Greek food with a seaview at the local traditional taverns.
